Ricardo Salazar is a proud lifelong resident of Ventura County, deeply rooted in a multigenerational family of real estate advisors. From his parents to his uncles, aunts, and cousins, real estate runs in his blood. Ricardo launched his professional career in 2011 during a time when the housing market was just beginning to recover from the 2008–2009 recession. He began by partnering with his longtime mentors and family members at Century 21 in Oxnard, where he spent three foundational years learning the business firsthand.

His talents soon caught the attention of renowned real estate mogul Mark Rafeh of Century 21 in Thousand Oaks, who recruited Ricardo to serve as the lead listing and sales advisor for one of the top-performing teams in East Ventura County, covering the Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks regions. During his three years there, Ricardo achieved significant milestones, including multiple awards and accolades such as Top Listing Agent and Top Selling Agent from 2015 to 2017.

In mid-2017, Ricardo made a strategic move to Keller Williams Realty World Class in Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village. There, he thrived as a solo agent, specializing in listings and further establishing his reputation as a trusted advisor. After 2.5 years, he expanded his reach by partnering with Keller Williams West Ventura County in 2019. This move allowed him to build a powerhouse listing team serving Camarillo, Oxnard, Ventura, and Ojai — a true countywide operation.

Ricardo’s passion for leadership and mentorship has earned him a strong presence in the local real estate community. In 2021, he made another forward-thinking transition to eXp Realty of California, Inc., a cutting-edge, cloud-based brokerage. This move was designed to elevate the level of service offered to both his clients and his agents. Known for his professionalism, consistency, and client-first approach, Ricardo remains steadfastly committed to helping clients reach their real estate goals. When he’s not immersed in real estate, Ricardo enjoys going to church(Calvary Nexus or Reality Ventura), reading, running the beach, playing soccer, and most of all, creating lasting memories with his family: his son Eden, daughter Bella, baby Ezra, and his wife Charlene.
